The Eastern Scheldt is right outside the door of this beautiful, exclusive apartment. This unique area is special because of its tidal nature, and the hundreds of species of plants and animals allow for a dynamic and fascinating underwater world. You can enjoy an extraordinary view of the Eastern Scheldt from this apartment and can almost touch the water.  

Accommodation
You can reach the second floor of the apartment complex using the lift or stairs at the car park entrance. The bright living room with a large corner sofa by the TV (with a wide range of channels and Chromecast) is practically furnished and decorated with wallpaper featuring the Eastern Scheldt Barrier, the Zeeland Bridge and "The Drowned Villages in Colijnsplaat” monument. The kitchen in the open space features a kitchenette and island arrangement with ample cabinet space. At the attached bar can seat two people. The kitchen is fully equipped for great cooking: an induction stove, electric grill, combination microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator (with freezer compartment), toaster, kettle and a Senseo and filter coffee machine. The round dining table with comfortable chairs seats four people. The spacious terrace (28 m2) with panoramic views of the Eastern Scheldt is accessed through the living room. You can enjoy this extraordinary view from the lounge set or dining table on the terrace. The single-storey apartment has two bedrooms, both with unobstructed views. A stay in this apartment feels like being on a cruise ship. The first bedroom has a double bed (180 x 200 cm), reading lamps, a closet and a television. The second bedroom has two single beds (90 x 200 cm), a chair, a reading lamp and a closet. The spacious bathroom has a shower, sink with upper and lower cupboards, storage cupboard with mirror and hairdryer. The toilet is in a separate room. The storage room next to the living room has a washing machine and dryer. A folding cot (60 x 120 cm) and a high chair are available for small children, and up to two pets are welcome. The apartment has a reserved parking space, and parking is also available in the large car park. You can park a boat with a trailer in the large car park, and there is one charging station for electric cars. Bicycles can be stored and charged in the locked storage room downstairs.

Surrounding area
The accommodation is located on the island of Tholen, which is characterised by peace and quiet. Built on the far end of a pier at the foot of the Eastern Scheldt, this is a unique holiday location near the Netherlands' largest and wettest national park. The area is also perfect for diving: there is a diving school, and the Eastern Scheldt has many beautiful diving sites. There is also a compressed air filling station for divers at the bottom of the dyke near the Zeester campsite. If you prefer to stay above water, you can take the foot ferry to Yerseke in the summer or discover all the island's beauty on foot or by bike or scooter. There is plenty to do on the Eastern Scheldt, both above and below the water. Brasserie de Zeester, located on the first floor of the apartment complex, offers delicious lunches, dinners, or a simple drink or snack.
