This spacious holiday home in the village of Elkeringhausen is ideal for larger families or a holiday with grandparents. With a separate basement and two bathrooms, you have multiple pleasant living spaces at your disposal. Elkeringhausen has excellent walking routes nearby, and a playground is just a 3-minute walk away. There is plenty to do around Elkeringhausen and Winterberg, with a wide range of fun activities in summer and in winter. If you prefer a bit of peace and quiet, the beautiful German countryside is also an excellent place to unwind. 

Accommodation
From the spacious driveway, with room for several cars, you enter the spacious hall of this cosy holiday home. The hall provides access to a toilet and spiral staircases to the second floor and the basement. The large living room is furnished with a dining table with seating for six and a spacious sitting area by the television with a DVD player. The adjoining kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, freezer, Senseo machine, filter coffee machine, kettle, dishwasher and microwave for cooking and eating in the accommodation. The living room opens out onto the terrace and the impressively large garden. The garden is spacious, private, beautifully green and has a small pond with an idyllic little bridge. 

The basement has a large double room with a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a sitting area with a cosy wood stove. You can also directly access the terrace from the sitting area through the French doors. The adjoining bathroom has a sink, toilet, shower and an infrared sauna. 

The other two bedrooms are on the second floor of the house. The first has a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a closet. The second bedroom on the second floor has a beautiful window that offers an excellent view of the mountain landscape or the starry night sky from the double bed (180 x 200 cm). The second bathroom is also on this floor and has a bathtub, shower, toilet and wash basin. There are toys, a high chair and a folding cot available for children. You can use the washing machine and dryer in the garage.

Surrounding area
The house is located in Elkeringhausen, 4 kilometres from Winterberg. The area is woody, with mountains and a small lake. There are many restaurants, small stores, cafes and beer taverns here. The hiking trails start almost right outside your door. A 20-minute drive gets you to the centre of Winterberg and the Kappe Experience Mountain with its bobsled track, bike park, summer toboggan and climbing forest. The centre of Winterberg hosts many stores, boutiques, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. A wide range of leisure activities is available in the immediate area around Winterberg.
