The striking cities of Rotterdam and Gouda are also just a short distance from the park (15-20 minutes by car). Ideal if you want to spend a day shopping, sightseeing or visit the famous Gouda cheese market. You can also visit various monumental windmills and farms in the nearby villages of Ouderkerk aan den IJssel and Capelle aan den IJssel.
