About the resort

Résidence Valkenburg is located in the beautiful hilly landscape of South Limburg Furthermore, it is only a short distance from Valkenburg and Maastricht. A unique location in the southernmost tip of the Netherlands where you can truly enjoy the surroundings. There are many facilities at Résidence Valkenburg for both young and old. For example, there is a heated outdoor swimming pool (open from 1 May), an Ibiza-style restaurant, and various sports and playing fields. Moreover, there is a bike and mountain bike rental service to aid you in exploring the beautiful surroundings. Cycling, mountain biking, and hiking routes are available. There is also a golf course and an indoor swimming pool nearby. For the children, there are many facilities, including a children's pool, kids' club, Toppe Bob, an animation team, and an entertainment program (during school holidays).

About the surroundings

Résidence Valkenburg is located in Schin op Geul, Limburg and the area is characterized by the unique South Limburg hilly landscape, interspersed with forests and water. Schin op Geul offers many museums, animal parks, amusement parks, and indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Valkenburg is less than a ten-minute drive away, and the Limburg capital of Maastricht is just 20 kilometers removed from Résidence Valkenburg. Both Maastricht and Valkenburg are certainly worth a visit and both offer a unique Christmas market. During the cycling season, many cycling events are also organized in the immediate vicinity, such as the Amstel Gold Race.
