Explore the area by bike, on foot or even on the water and let the beautiful landscape of North Holland and the charming towns in the area surprise you. Thanks to its location, this is the ideal place for both relaxing and active holidays. Enjoy various water sports on the Markermeer or visit vibrant Amsterdam, and then relax completely at Park Westerkogge in Berkhout afterwards.
Rent an (electric) bicycle from us and discover the beautiful natural surroundings. Or enjoy the facilities such as the outdoor swimming pool, restaurant, sports field, play areas or the fishing opportunities. And would you like to bring your own boat? If so, you can dock it at the jetties. Park Westerkogge has every convenience needed for you to experience an unforgettable and relaxing holiday.

About the surroundings
Park Westerkogge is located in Berkhout and offers beautiful surroundings, with several natural areas and a lot of water. This small village in North-Holland is located close to the large recreational area De Hulk, known for its many forests and meadows. The holiday park also lies close to the Markermeer, the IJsselmeer and the sea. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy no less than 45 kilometers of boat routes, many mooring docks, several water sports activities and fun fishing possibilities in the close vicinity of the park. Surfing, sailing, fishing, boating and swimming, it's all possible in the surroundings of Park Westerkogge. Would you like some culture? Visit one of the idyllic villages, the many cultural hot spots or the historic city of Hoorn (15 minutes drive). We liked that we got a house at the canal, we asked for it but didn't know if it will work. The house itself was fine, only the water pressure in the shower could be a little bit more powerful :-) Our fault was that we were not really prepared to bring all the stuff we needed, like enough toilett paper or soap for the sihwasher for example. But Hoorn is so close that this was no problem, next time we know it better :-D We had a really nice time, it was raining a lot but that's no ones fault

Helaas is er een minpunt te noteren. We hebben een bericht gestuurd over spullen die niet of minder dan vermeld op de inventarislijst) aanwezig waren (o.a. emmer, blik, glazen). Deze zijn tijdens ons verblijf niet aangevuld.
